The 42-year-old mother of two, who recently lost 60 pounds, faced a wardrobe malfunction and forgot the lyrics to one of her hit songs, leaving the audience momentarily confused but ultimately satisfied with her engaging performance.
According to an eyewitness (via The Sun US), Clarkson's hair became caught in the back zipper of her skintight black jumpsuit, which showed off her slimmed-down figure. "She briefly suffered a wardrobe malfunction and had to go up to one of her backup singers to get her hair out," the source revealed. "She made a comment about wanting to rock out, like, nod her head up and down and couldn't because it was stuck."
In addition to the wardrobe issue, Clarkson also forgot the lyrics to her 2023 hit "Mine." She candidly addressed the audience, saying, "I'm not in this moment anymore. I have let go of these lyrics... like Elsa," referencing the Disney film Frozen. The musician insisted on starting the song over, telling the crowd, "We're gonna do it again. I'm gonna do it right."
Clarkson's quirky side was on full display throughout the hour-and-a-half concert, as she made several "weird" comments to the audience. She began the show by admitting she was in a "weird mood," comparing her backstage dancing to Kristen Wiig's performances on Saturday Night Live. "I don't know what's happening. I'm just really happy to be doing a show! We're doing a full show," she exclaimed.
At various points during the concert, Clarkson joked about her left hand being "freezing" while her right hand was fine, asking if there was a doctor in the audience who could tell her if she was "going to die." She also mentioned accidentally biting her tongue while trying to be "sexy" during another song and hearing noises on stage, which she attributed to her interest in the post-apocalyptic TV show Fallout.

She later took to Instagram to thank the audience, writing, "Atlantic City, what a fun show last night! Thank you, Ruby, for helping me with Heartbeat song." Ruby, one of Clarkson's superfans who has Down syndrome, was invited to sing "Heartbeat" onstage with the singer.
Clarkson's recent weight loss has been a topic of discussion, with the singer revealing on her talk show that she used medication to assist her in shedding pounds due to her "bad" bloodwork. While some have speculated that she used Ozempic, Clarkson clarified that it was a different medication prescribed by her doctor after years of resisting the idea due to her existing thyroid issues.
