Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been ramping up their engagements this year. In February, after launching a new website, the Sussex traveled to Canada for a series of events related to next year's Invictus Games.

On February 27, Prince Harry, a patron of the UK charity WellChild for 15 years, announced the organization's awards nominations. In March, he supported his wife on International Woman's Day at SXSW in Austin, Texas. Then, a few days later, he chatted virtually with recipients of the Diana Awards, named after his late mother.

Then, on March 21, Prince Harry and Meghan hosted a special event for the Kinsey African American Art and History Collections in Los Angeles. "They've kept a busy schedule doing exactly the kind of appearances they would have done if they'd stayed in the royal family," a source told In Touch.

It's what Prince Harry does, bet. "He finds this work-community outreach and bringing attention to humanitarian causes-incredibly fulfilling. He's missed it since leaving his role with the royal family," an insider claimed.

That's not all he missed after moving more than 5,000 miles away to Montecito, California. "On one explosive night after Charles and Kate had both announced their cancer diagnoses, Harry reached his breaking point. He's really been worried and made desperate plea to Charles. He wants to reconcile with the family and pitch in to help at this time of need. He's told them he's coming home."

Prince Harry, who was in town for less than 24 hours in February after learning of his father's illness, had already been planning to visit more often. He's expected back for an event celebrating the Invictus Games' 10th Anniversary on May 8, and one of his best friends, High Grosvenor - his 4-year-old son Archie's godfather - is getting married in June.

"These are good excuses for him to be there and also work in some quality time with his family," the source stated. Meghan "is still refusing to set foot in the UK again after everything that's happened with Prince Harry's family. It's emotional for her to think that he's willing to walk out of the home they've made together to go back to be with those people, and she's definitely vowed to keep the kids in California."

The royals aren't clamoring to reunite with her, either. "There's tendency to blame Meghan for a lot of choices Prince Harry has made, so he probably has a better chance of mending fences alone," the tipster shared, adding that while King Charles is "likely to be forgiving, Harry has an uphill battle with the Prince and Princess of Wales."

Prince William and Princess Kate were particularly stung by Prince Harr's many jabs at them in interviews and the fact that he shared intimate conversations with them in his tell-all book, "Spare," says the source. "He's definitely going to have to earn their trust back slowly. It will be hard to convince him that he's coming to pitch in from a sincere place," it went on.

There are selfish reasons as well. "It can get quite lonely for Harry in California without his lifelong firneds around," the informant said. To that end, adds another insider, he's hoping to enjoy some time with all his old mates ahead of his milestone 40th birthday in September, "in which may annoy Meghan because he tends to let loose around them. Their marriage is already hanging bhy a threat over his decision to rejoin the royal fold."

Meanwhile, a body language expert dubbed Prince Harry's recent appearance with Meghan Markle a "power move" after he made a key gesture. Last week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Florida, where they piled on the PDA.

Body language specialist Darren Stanton told Express UK that the Sussex pair appeared to be in a "strong place" during an "intimate" appearance. He examined their body language at the charity event. He claimed the duke made a "power move" towards his wife, demonstrating his "love and affection."

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, Stanton said, "During the dinner event, I spotted Harry's hand reaching out across Meghan's back. Again, this is a very intimate gesture that can also be seen as a power move. Not in an arrogant sense, but it's a sign of love and affection from Harry. Meghan fully reciprocated the gesture as she's a tactile person. From these pictures, it's clear that neither of them have any issues with PDA. They are definitely in a good place with each other."

According to the body language expert, Prince Harry and Meghan come across as "completely authentic" because their interactions do not appear to be "staged or prepped in any way."

"I think the one thing that comes over is that a lot of the gestures between the two, you can tell they are instantaneous and not conscious. Ultimately they are in the strongest place they have been for some time and that is demonstrated by their interpersonal liking, touching and kissing," he explained.

It comes after Prince Harry and Meghan announced that they are developing two new Netflix programs through their production business, Archewell Productions, one of which will focus on polo.

"Archewell Productions is pleased to share that two new nonfiction series are in production at Netflix as part of its multi-year overall deal. One series, curated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, and in partnership with The Intellectual Property Corporation (a part of Sony Pictures Television), will celebrate the joys of cooking & gardening, entertaining, and friendship," a statement on Sussex.com read.

"The other[show], shot primarily at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida at The USPA National Polo Center, and in partnership with Boardwalk Pictures, will provide viewers with unprecedented access to the world of professional polo. Known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level," it furthered.
